: ))You are perfect

You are perfect. I’ve held off on telling you this, because I didn’t think you’d believe me at first. But who you really are, the you that emerges when you let go of the need to struggle with the ideas about yourself; that you is perfect. Always has been, and always will be.

The you that has been waiting there for you, for your whole life, is absolutely perfect, whole and complete. You don’t need to struggle, work for or earn that perfection – it is your birthright. And that you is close enough to read these words (hi there – you’re amazing – blink if you can read this!)

This is the you that knows that you don’t need anything, that all is well, that there’s nothing to fear. It’s this you that found these tips, so you can wake up and experience the joy of living. Hooray!

Hypnosis
The fact that [fact] means ____.

The fact that you’re here means…well logically it means that you’re here. But hypnotic logic is a bit different. You can state a fact, then say what it means. The fact that you’re here means you can make whatever changes you desire. The fact that you’ve learned to write means you can master any complex skill. The fact that you’re playing this game means you’ll wire these patterns in at a deep level.

Coaching
This week’s pattern is:

What will you do [to get what you want]? What steps will you take?

Most goals involve taking some action, so it’s good to have some idea where to start. Some people like to plan every step, while others like to get clear about their goal then trust their intuitive impulses. Either way, it’s important to decide what you’ll do. What will you do to become wealthy? What steps will you take to become slim? Some people recommend taking an action within 24 hours of setting a goal. This sends a message of commitment to the nervous system. What steps will you take to wire in these learnings? 

Influence
Think of how [feeling] you’ll feel when you _____.

People like to feel good, and you can get them to attach their good feelings to the direction you want them to go in. Think of how happy you’ll feel when you come to work for a company that really values you. Think of how good you’ll feel when you celebrate having reached your target. Think of how amazing you’ll feel knowing that you’ve made a positive difference in someone else’s life.

Influence
Wouldn’t you agree that _____?

Wouldn’t you agree that, “Wouldn’t you agree” is a rather…agreeable way to begin a sentence? It’s like a back-to-front tag question, and can be rather difficult to disagree with. Wouldn’t you agree that modern businesses need to learn how to manage change? Wouldn’t you agree that people have to keep developing new skills? People like to appear consistent with their precious statements, so create contexts where their agreement moves them in the direction you want them to go.     

Coaching
Are you willing to go to any length to ______?

This sounds extreme, but willingness is powerful. When someone truly decides they’re willing to go to any length to make a change, success becomes far more likely. You don’t typically have to go to any length, just be willing to. Of course, mismatchers think immediately of what they wouldn’t be willing to do, but you can explain that they probably won’t have to do anything illegal! Are you willing to go to any length to be true to yourself?

You don’t need to change yourself

You don’t need to change yourself. Who you are is already amazing, wonderful and brilliant. You just may not realise it yet. But you are already here.

Your efforts to ‘improve’ yourself are unnecessary; like polishing a raindrop, or spraying perfume on a rose. You are already here. Your idea of the world is just an idea. Your idea of yourself is just an idea. Your ideas of what should be changed about yourself are just ideas. Unhappiness is the result of ideas about ideas.

But you are not these ideas. When you recognize this, you can stop identifying with the ideas, and relax. Who you really are has been waiting to emerge. It may be helpful to change some of what you do (E.g. what you focus on, what you say to yourself etc) but you don’t need to change yourself.

Hypnosis
People can, you know, ____.

Which people can? People like you! And the “you know” assumes you already know this, so it’s nothing new. People can, you know, forget about ever even having had this problem. People can, you know, connect with their natural brilliance. People can, you know, learn even faster when they’re having fun.
