The minute your headline matches the keyword someone’s typed… you massively increase the response rate and lower your cost per click (cpc).
Have small clusters of ads, targeted around a specific keyword (included in your ad’s headline) to increase your CTR and therefore lower your advertising costs.

After 100 clicks for each, look at the CTR (click-through rate) for each. It could be 1%, 3.2%, and 0.4%. Delete the ad with the worst CTR and create a new one, with the intention to get a CTR higher than 3.2%!
Google rewards you for relevancy of your ad to the keyword search.

The lower your CTR rate, the more expensive your campaign – because Google will penalise you for putting an ad that is not completely relevant to what the Internet surfer is searching for!
Research your competition. Do a Google search for each keyword, and then copy and paste all of their Google ads, relevant to your product, into a swipe file. Order them from good to bad. This will give you loads of ideas on how to write your own ads.

Not all keywords are created equal. You will find that some keywords may convert 100x better. Use Google Adwords’ tool for tracking which keywords converted to sales. You could be wasting a lot of money paying for keywords that never lead to any sales.
Create different landing pages. Make your ads congruent to the landing page!
